I Am Beginning A New Adventure
And I would like you to come along with me so that we can learn together.

I always enjoyed the beginning of new adventures.
Carol and I traveled a lot in our RV, both for work and pleasure. We usually ended up turning our trips into adventures.
Oxford Languages defines adventure as, “an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity.”
Although my hazardous experiences came before I met Carol, we both sought excitement and many times found this just waiting for us to admire it.
I am now at the beginning of another hazardous adventure.
Recently, I had an MRI and it discovered a mass on my liver. Since it was not very large, the doctors recommended that I have another MRI in three months to see if there were any differences.
Well, they found differences.
The mass from the first test had doubled in size and there were “at least” ten more masses on the liver. Studying the evidence, the doctors then reported “multiple new and growing Bilobar Liver Masses” and they concluded, “Metastatic Disease is most likely.” They recommended a biopsy.
The biopsy of the masses on the liver was performed on October 31 and I now have the results.
There is only one of two reports that the lab could have sent, a Good report or a Great report.
A Good report would have been that no cancer had been found. This was a Great report!
What made it Great? So much great is coming to me now that it is known that my body has Metastatic Liver Disease, which has another name. Stage 4 Cancer.
I have tried to live a spiritual life for almost 50 of my body’s 84 years and, in this time, have learned so much about life and what it is all about. There are so many things that I both believed and questioned before, but I now KNOW and FEEL because I have lived and experienced them.
The finest thing that I learned was that “I am a spiritual being living in a spiritual universe that is governed by spiritual law and that, as a divine being, I am an individualized expression of God and one with all that exists.”
I have been blessed to learn that my I Am and my body are not the same!

My I Am is spiritual, perfect, and eternal. It is my Higher Self.
My body is simply the carryall for my Higher Self as I wend my way through this Human Experience, and is not eternal but finite.
The greatest news is that I do not have cancer. My body does. When I make my transition from this Human Experience back to my eternal self, the cancer will not follow me.
This leads to the question — What now? Nothing new. I am and will continue to be happy, joyous, and free. This is because, no matter how big the storm is, my God is bigger.
Thank you, God!
